Doesn't that look good? It looks absolutely beautiful to me....but WHY is it so disgusting??? I am on a mission to find sushi that I like. I know two things: 1)If its raw its gross 2)If it's made with fish its even worse. LOL!! So anybody make a dessert sushi? I am going to try a cucumber and something on Thursday when we go to the Sushi Bar for Happy Hour. Carlos and I went last week....great atmosphere....yucki sushi. My brother would tell me that I need a life....actually, he wants to go to the sushi bar with Carlos mostly...I just get to come because I am a wife...I will let you know if my experience with sushi improves any.
I love the look for suchi too but have a really hard time eating it (even have PJ pants made from a "sushi fabric")
I am not sure if it really qualifies as suchi but i like inari (sp?) it has rice in a very thin tofu pocket that has been fried and glazed with hiney - nothing raw - it's yummy
or try a japanese spring roll
sushi is such a hard thing to find cooked right, here in kansas city there is only a few places that have proper cooks who can not only use the freshest sushi, but also roll them right. Im a big fan of crab rolls, i think they are the best. we should go out the next time you and carlos are here, we'll go to the best place in town on me! :)
