So is normal a state of mind? Normal is based on what standard is set and followed consistantly by your peers...what is normal for you? Try saying "normal" 7 times fast...its a weird word. I don't believe in "normal". I really don't. Because it can change at any time...and because normal just isn't the same for everybody...but we judge other based on what we consider "normal". I just wanted to make it clear that I pass no judgements on the activities that go on in our neighborhood based on that word..."normal". Because there is more to every situation than our perception of "normal"...(I am not going to even get into "right" or "legal" or "safe" because those are boring words) I allow you a glimpse into our "normal" world so that you can smile at the creativity of some ghetto kids. And maybe we should all re-evaluate what "normal" is in our own lives and go outside and play kick the paper towel roll or sleep on our roof....and be normal.
